Tembici
Headquartered in Brazil and operating in four countries, Tembici is the largest bike-sharing company in Latin America, with more than 21,000 bikes. A leader in micromobility technology, Tembici creates solutions to inspire a revolution in urban space. Its biggest partner is Itaú, one of the world's largest banks, which started a revolution in the urban spaces of big cities like Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in 2011 and has had its bike-sharing service operated by Tembici since 2017.
Despite its popularity and already large user base, Tembici's app still faced challenges in making its processes clearer for users. Forty percent of people were unable to unlock bikes at stations, and 80% of users had difficulty fully understanding the service, the prices and completing the registration process.

The illustrations acted as a significant informative element, rather than just an aesthetic one; they helped translate the main stages of the bike rental and pick-up process in a much quicker and clearer way, which not only helped elevate the brand, but also allowed us to work with more concise writing that helped optimize the interfaces, making the whole experience quicker and more enjoyable.
